The Contiki European Encounter Day 12
6 August
We
arrived in Florence in
early afternoon for a city tour
including Il Duomo, Santa Croce, and a leather making
demonstration. We also went over to the Academia to
see Michelangelo's David in all his glory.
Tonight
was the Tuscan
feast we had been told all about by Tour
Manager Deb. We had antipasto, pasta, steak and
dessert, along with plenty of wine. They
had Italian
singers and an opera singer and it was one of the most fun
meals on the tour.
After dinner we headed to Space
Electronic disco for a night of dancing to all the popular
club hits, especially ones from 5 years ago like Jump
Around...
